However, first is heartbeat at 21 days in utero. Immediately afterward on 22nd day, it is regulated by the brain. Foundational key to life is our biology and interface with the world. First time we begin to really interface with world (physics) is when we are born and draw first breath. That’s when biophysics begins. We learn to deal with temperature changes, wind, water, and pollutants in the physical world. Biology and physics are the unique sciences in humans.
The heart and brain continuously influence each other’s function. Through nerve impulses, neurotransmitters, pulse waves and electromagnetic fields. Optimal function of the brain and heart is interconnected and affects our health, emotions and behaviors.
